·       Designed and implemented several applications for capturing, storing and manipulating medical diagnostic images.

·       Designed and implemented several applications using the Microsoft Speech API to create medical transcription applications. Included extensive use of the Text Object Model (TOM).

·       Used Microsoft Handwriting APIs to implement Tablet PC applications for creating medical forms and reports using freehand input.

·       Used Pocket PC 2003 SDK to implement several applications for the Pocket PC.

·        Added IHE and DICOM compliant network communications to a medical imaging workstation, enabling integration with other workstations and servers in the healthcare enterprise.

·       Designed and implemented several versions of an Internet-based audio playback application. Technical lead of team that developed both the GUI and the download and playback engine.

·       Designed and implemented several versions of a modular plug-in architecture for downloading, streaming and playing digital audio and other types of time-based media. Initial versions were done alone and later versions were done as part of a team. Included design and implementation of a Digital Rights Management system (DRM).

·       Designed and implemented ActiveX controls.

·       Designed and implemented web pages and user interfaces using HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, ActiveX, JavaScript and VBScript

·       Designed and implemented plug-in modules which added download and playback support for the Liquid Audio format to third party applications like the Real and Winamp media players.

·       Designed and implemented various MIDI, music notation, digital audio and multimedia applications using C++, C, FORTRAN and Assembly Language.

·       Wrote code using technologies like DirectSound, MFC, OLE, COM, MCI and Video for Windows.

·       Designed a reusable, object-oriented, MIDI, music notation and digital audio class library.

·       Ported Macintosh applications to the Windows environment.

·       Collaborated with Dr. Leland Smith of Stanford University to bring his Score music publishing application to the PC environment.

·       Wrote Windows, MS-DOS, Apple II and Commodore 64 MIDI device drivers.

·       Windows 95, Windows 3.x, Windows 2.1, MS-DOS, Apple II and Commodore 64 environments.

·       Supervised up to four other programmers at various times.
